We have HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) cross contamination prevention procedures in place at all of the facilities that we work with. The equipment is cleaned, swab tested for any allergen residue (applies to the Top 8 allergens as defined by the USDA), and then sanitized before Applegate products are run. Applegate products always run after a cleaning and testing, and before products that contain allergens. This makes the chance of cross contamination extremely low.
