On occasion you may notice green spots on your bacon, The green spots are caused by the celery powder used in our brine.
Usually this is not visible, but some batches of celery powder have a deeper color that is more visible on the bacon, hence the green spots.
If you are ever worried about spoilage be sure to look for these two signs; 1. Foul smell 2. A white slimy substance on the meat.
